Teams will initially operate as divisions of League whose football operations will be run by a quasi-independent board and Team President.
The league has signed an agreement with the University of FLORIDA team to play some home games in Gainesville.
Jacksonville's Gator Bowl and Tampa's Raymond James Stadium will host the remaining home games for the League's FLORIDA team.
The League has signed a contract with Legion Field to host its ALABAMA team and a contract with War Memorial Field to host its ARKANSAS team, and a contract with Ford Field to host its MICHIGAN team. The AAFL will field a team in TEXAS which will play its home games at a field to be designated shortly.
The League will employ all players and coaches and will establish a system of allocating talent among the Teams,striving to match players with their alma mater.
Each Team's Advisory Board will have a meaningful role in regard to team operational matters, including the nomination of head coach and the selection of other key employees. Each Team will have a representative on the Council of Team Governors, the body that will propose bylaw and playing rule changes to the League.
